How do i use a hair pick aka afro pick to tease short straight hair?

you need a teasing comb. a pick has too wide of teeth. you need a comb where the teeth are closer together. once you get a smaller comb, you will take the hair in smaller sections and tease the hair (comb it down real fast), just at the scalp though. smooth the top layer, don't comb all the way through.
