It may sound like a stupid question but I'm just wondering if it will still look ok. My hair is moderate thickness and has a wave to it. How do I get it that rounded look so it all curves in toward my face? Do I need to get it razored or just thinned out? Im not sure what to tell my hairstylist! I don't mind straightening it to achieve the look, I just want to make sure I get it cut right! THANK YOU! (Also, if anyone has some good pics let me know!)

you can still get your hair bobbed. i would tell the stylist to cut your hair dry so that you can better see how it will look as opposed to wetting it (you said that your hair has some thickness, so i'd imagine that when it's wet it's a good bit longer and straighter than when dry).

i found a picture where it appears that she has a touch of a wave to her hair. i also found a really good picture of the woman who plays Neela on E.R. (sorry, i've forgotten her name) with an excellent wavy bob.

if you have thick hair razoring would be fine. um... it would look fine because when you get a shorter cut it makes your hair a little less curly and with a short length it would take no time to strighten if you are so worried.

I would just take a picture of the style you want and your stylist should be able to tailor it to your hair type. She'll know what to do. Just communicate well about it!

You could definitely achieve Nicole's look. She has naturally wavy hair also. You would need to straighten it most days of the week to get it to look like hers, but it's definitely doable. But, leaving it wavy could look cute on you too considering your hair is moderate thickness. But, your hair could be a little to thick to let it just be wavy becuase sometimes thick wavy hair gets poufy.

I believe you can straighten it yourself by blowdrying--first upside down to get it somewhat dry, then by standing up, blowing it dry and putting a little inward flip on the ends. A few strokes with a ceramic ionic straightening iron would be of some help.

Mine is like yours except thinner. My dear, dear hairdresser told me that he thought layers would be better on me to add some fullness.

A permanent straightening? Expensif! Choose either thermal reconditioning or a Japanese straightening.
