My hair is thick and naturally curly. It is brown and has looked the same since high school. I want something completely different. I was thinking about getting an angular bob like so many of the stars are doing now (Vicky Beckham, Rihanna). I straighten my hair a lot but sometimes I don't want to and I'm afraid if I just let it be curly it will look really dumb. Should I cut it or just color it? It's about shoulder length now.

unless you want to straighten your hair every day, don't do that. it'll look ultra stupid when it's curly, sorry. curly hair needs length to weigh it down and cut down on frizz.
