Does anyone know how to make long hair look like a bob without cutting or putting it in a bun?

I need to wear it like this for a play that takes place in the 1920's. For opening night we tried a loose bun with a load of bobby pins, but it fell out when I did my first flip. It needs to be a nice tight hairstyle that won't fall out when I go upside down multiple times.

Try Curling it under with a 2+ inch Barrel Curling Iron. And fix it to your liking. You may need to curl the curling iron mulitple times for your long hair, but it'll come off a bit curly. Don't finger comb, or mess with it, so you might want to set everything up before you try.
